He also performed with King James and the Serfs of Swing, the SingCo Rhythm Orchestra, the Tom Cunningham Orchestra, and the Celestial Sliphorns. Matt was named to the All-County and All-State Jazz Ensembles. Matt Musselman played trombone in the band in 2001-2004 while a student at Walt Whitman High School and Montgomery College.
Geoff is now attending the Manhattan School of Music. Geoff is a recipient of the Essentially Ellington Outstanding Player Award, and a Merit winner in the National YoungArts competition. Locally he played in the Blues Alley Youth Orchestra, performed with the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra and the Brooks Tegler Big Band, and sat in with Dixieland Direct, Hal's Bayou Jazz Band, and Dave Robinson's Conservatory Classic Jazz Band. Geoff has shared a stage with Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti, Arturo Sandoval, Hugh Masekela, and Maynard Ferguson. He has been a featured soloist with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, the Army Blues, and various wind ensembles, and has performed on nationally-televised ball games as well as at a variety of jazz festivals across the country. He has performed at the White House, the Capitol, the Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, and Iridium Jazz Club in New York. Geoff has performed on NBC's "Tonight Show" and "Today Show", CBS' "Early Show", and on BBC Radio, and was named to the Grammy High School All-Stars Big Band three times and the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Orchestra twice, with whom he toured Japan. Geoff Gallante played cornet/trumpet with the band from 2009 (when he was 8 years old) to 2018.
